Red Cap

 The Red Cap is a fire faery, a skinny man with a leathery

body and no hair that carries a sharp wooden scythe to strike

down all who invade the area he has decided to guard.  The

red cap he wears is believed to made of dried human blood. 

There have been documented sightings of him in old castle

and cairn ruins in Scotland and he is said to be a cannibal

who will eat humans and faeries.
